Third Sunday every month—Food Pantry Sunday.
We gather nonperishable food, household items, and monetary donations for the two local food pantries.

Mondays, 6 p.m.—Acadia Handbell Choir rehearsal. Newcomers are always welcome; contact Mary Gilliland (244-7109).

Tuesdays, 1:30-2:45 p.m.—Soul Rest Contemplative Prayer Group. Gatherings include prayerful reading, quiet sittings, walking meditation, and sharing. All are welcome.

Wednesdays, 7 p.m.—AA meeting.

Thursdays—Victor's day off.


Soul Rest Contemplative Prayer Group gathers Tuesdays from 2:00-3:15 in the Pastor's office Our time together includes brief prayerful reading, sitting quietly for 20 minutes, walking meditatively for 5 minutes and returning to silent resting in the Presence for 20 minutes. An opportunity for sharing follows. Persons wishing to experience Soul Rest are welcome at any time.

Bible Reflection: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Wednesdays of the month 3:30 -5:00pm at the Alcyon Center. For other offerings check the website:
Spiritual Guidance: a spiritual director journeys with you, listens to the happenings in your life, helps you to be aware of the movement of the Spirit, assists you in discerning how to respond to difficult situations, suggests practices for spiritual deepening. Lyta, a retired Presbyterian minister, received her certificate in Spiritual Guidance from the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation and has offered spiritual direction for 25 years. 


The 2nd Sunday of each month is FOOD PANTRY SUNDAY.
Gifts of food or money are welcome and can placed in the containers at the back of the sanctuary. Our support of our 2 island food pantries enables about 300 of our neighbors to meet their monthly food needs.

Guest speaker Linda Robinson will update us on the situation in Mozambique, Malawi, and Zimbabwe after the two devastating tropical cyclones - Idai and Kenneth.

Learn more about the asylum seekers in Portland from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola and how we can help.
All donations will help cyclone recovery in Africa and asylum seekers in Portland.

First Friday of the month, 7-9 p.m.—Soul Friends for Women. 

First three Wednesdays of the month, 3:30-4:30 p.m.—Bible Reconnaissance.

Meditation Hour in the Gazebo by the Cove Wednesday afternoons 2:00 - 3:00pm.
